Handling of Personal Information

Altech Co., Ltd. complies with the Personal Information Protection Law and related laws and regulations regarding the handling of personal information, and appropriately manages and handles personal information provided by customers and other parties related to Altech Co., Ltd. as follows. In addition, the basic policy on the handling of specified personal information.
The basic policy on the handling of specified personal information is stipulated in Chapter 7.

I. Purpose of use of personal information

When collecting personal information, we will clarify the purpose of collection to the provider and use legal and fair means to the extent necessary to achieve that purpose.

Ⅳ. Provision of personal information

We will not disclose or provide personal information provided by customers to third parties unless we have received the consent of the customer or it is required by law.

Ⅴ. Deposition of personal information

We may entrust your personal information to our contractors in order to achieve the purpose of use described in 1 above.
When we entrust our customers’ personal information to a contractor, we will select an appropriate contractor and supervise the contractor appropriately to ensure that the personal information is managed safely by the contractor, including clarifying the contractor’s obligations and responsibilities in a contract.

Ⅵ. Joint use of personal information

When necessary, we may share the personal information we receive from our customers as follows.
*Items to be shared:  Company name, affiliation, position, name, address, telephone number, e-mail address
*Scope of joint users:  Our company, affiliated companies listed in our securities report, and business partners involved in specific businesses
*Purpose of use by joint users:  To provide customers with services related to our business in a beneficial and appropriate manner
*Party responsible for the management of personal data:  Altech Co., Ltd.

Ⅶ. Basic Policy on the Handling of Specified Personal Information, etc.

Our basic policy regarding the handling of personal numbers and personal information that includes personal numbers (hereinafter collectively referred to as “Specified Personal Information, etc.”) as stipulated in the “Act on the Use of Numbers to Identify Specific Individuals in Administrative Procedures” (hereinafter referred to as the “Number Law”) is as follows.

*In handling specified personal information, etc., we will comply with the Number Law, the “Guidelines for the Appropriate Handling of Specified Personal Information (Business Operators’ Edition)” (hereinafter referred to as the “Specified Personal Information Guidelines”) established by the Committee for Protection of Specified Personal Information, and guidelines and other norms established by the government, and will operate in accordance with the specified personal information protection rules established separately.

*Employees involved in the handling of specified personal information, etc. shall be clearly identified, and employees not included in this group shall not handle specified personal information, etc. other than that of the individual concerned or their dependents.

*We will take the necessary security control measures to prevent the leakage, loss, or damage of specified personal information, etc.

*When outsourcing the handling of specified personal information, etc., we will select, contract with, and supervise the outsourcer in accordance with the Number Law and the Guidelines for Specified Personal Information. The same supervision will be conducted by the Company when the entrusted party re-entrusts the handling.

*The Company has established a contact point to receive questions and complaints regarding the handling of specified personal information. The contact point will be in accordance with this Privacy Policy “10. Personal Information (including Specified Personal Information, etc.)” of this Privacy Policy.

Ⅷ. Disclosure, correction, and suspension of use of registered information

If a customer requests the disclosure, correction, suspension of use, or deletion of his/her own personal information, or the suspension of disclosure or provision of such information to a third party, we will respond promptly after confirming the customer’s identity, unless there is a special reason not to.

Ⅸ. Implementation of safety measures

We will ensure the prevention of unauthorized access to personal information and the loss, destruction, falsification, or leakage of personal information by clarifying the rules for handling personal information, ensuring that all employees are aware of them, and implementing the necessary safety measures.
In addition, if improvements are deemed necessary based on the results of internal audits or suggestions or requests from providers of actual security incidents, these will be promptly corrected.

(1)Items to be included on postcards and sealed letters
*Name and address of the person to whom the “Request for Disclosure, etc.” should be sent
*Please briefly indicate that you wish to receive a “Request for Disclosure, etc.” form.
(2)Send postcards and sealed letters to

*In order to ensure that the “Request Form for Disclosure, etc.” is sent correctly, we ask that you contact us by postcard or sealed letter. Please understand.

2.Based on the above contact, we will send you a “Request for Disclosure, etc.” form and an “Explanation Form”.

3.Customers are requested to fill out the “Request for Disclosure, etc.” form that they receive, and send it to our consultation desk by mail, enclosing the “Documents for Identification” based on the “Instructions”.

4.We will reply to your request by mail after confirming the details of your request.
※Depending on the content of the disclosure, etc., a fee may be charged.
※In the case of a request for disclosure, etc. by a proxy, please enclose a letter of proxy or other document that proves the existence of the proxy’s authority of representation from the person in question, as well as the proxy’s own “documents for identification.
